Deghosting High Dynamic Range Images: May 2007–August 2007

I developed a command-line C++ program to eliminate ghosting during the generation of HDR images. Ghosting is formed when moving objects in the source images produces semi-transparent and blurry objects in the resulting image. I implemented Khan's Deghosting algorithm and improved it to cater to more types of images.

Redesigning Blogger: January 2007–May 2007

Our team studied the Blogger experience, focusing on writers, using Contextual Inquiry, Keystroke Level Modeling, Heuristic Evaluation, Cognitive Walkthrough and Think Aloud studies. We proposed a design, based on our research data, that would improve the Blogger experience for its writers.

SmartSpaces: May 2006–August 2006

SmartSpaces was an effort to create an intelligent home environment using consumer electronics such as TiVos and iPaqs. We conducted Contextual Inquiries on home entertainment habits and presented the results and recommendations to the SmartSpaces group and the Carnegie Mellon West faculty and staff.
